Mesoheros ornatum . Big beautiful and mean S.A. cichlids.
Lipochromis sp. Matambi hunter. Extinct in the wild. Very mean, very predatory. Only 1 girl though.

You should look at the rest of Peter and Cathy Durkins adds.

I usually won't do this for people but if you want something I would pick it up for you. You would have to get me money prior to the swap and pick up the fish from my house the night of the swap

Thanks you, both Sean and Chris! This was a special order and I already had 20 ordered and Dave has submitted it to his vendor. I don't want to cancel on him now.

    I understand, but wouldn't 30 or 40 be better than 20.

This is how I think. Maybe this is why I have 70 tanks

Got a cool new CARES species at the GCCA swap Sunday- Lipochromis melanopterus. This is a paedophagic fish, in the wild the main food source for this fish is eggs and wigglers of other mouth brooding Cichlids. They will come up to a holding female and wrap their mouth around the holding female’s and suck the eggs or wigglers out.

I don’t plan on trying to replicate that behavior but once I get the group going it might be an interesting video project.

6 lamprologus callipterus black. Very cool shellies, where males grow 3-5 times larger than females. When breeding the male will dig a pit in the sand and then proceed to collect snail shells from around the aquarium and deposit them in his pit.

Sunday I got the wild caught bleeding hearts that were mistakenly shipped to the "other" Jeff (Caldwell) from the trip to Colombia this Jan/Feb. Also a heaping, helping of mixed silvery tetras, trap caught at the spring-fed looking pool at the "Estansia". I now have closure. :p
