I got a group Tangerine Tiger Shrimp from COSS.

I also bought a group of Hawaiian Red Shrimp Halocaridina rubra. Some of these are really dark red.

I picked up 9 super cool Xenotilapia melanogenys, a dozen Tropheus moorii moliro (red), another L66 pleco, and some sailfin mollies at the swap today. Also got what seemed like 500 Anubias nana that I've been tying to wood and planting all day. They probably only number in the 20s, but it looks like a lot and took all afternoon to put away. Megan gave me clown barbs for my birthday too!

Dang, I was looking for some Xenotilapia or similar at the swap and didn't see them. Ended up getting some Tropheus instead. I still need a Tanganyikan mouthbrooder BAP for Ultimate breeder.

I also got some Metriaclima lanisticola from Madtown, fancy guppies, and some great plants from Mark of Excellence plants.

I preordered the Xenotilapia melanogenys from Peter, and they were listed as Enantiopus, but I think Xenotilapia is the most current genus. I couldn't see hardly anything on the tables it was so crowded. Aside from the mollies, which turned out to be a pair of two males, everything I got was a preorder.

Thanks for the offer Jeff. I already picked up the Tropheus to fill that void in my BAP points. I don't have another empty Tanganyikan tank to put them in unfortunately. But they are a really great looking fish.

I am waiting on an order from Jeff Michels for some new Gymnogeophagus so my remaining empty tanks are already spoken for.

MadTown got its first import order in this week, one Species I will attempt to get breeders out of and keep around will be chameleon whiptails, they came in about 8 inches long so should be breeding size already. Once they settle in and go through disease irradication (one was riddled with gill flukes) I will start working on coaxing them to spawn.
I might keep a pair of the farlowellas to try to spawn them too.

We will post a list of what we have in quarantine soon and check our YouTube later today for our unboxing video

Tax return time! Just got 6 x Labidochromis chisumulae Chizumulu Island, 6 x Pseudotropheus sp. perspicax Orange Cap Ndumbi, 6 x Pundamilia sp. Blue Bar Hippo Point, 6 x Aulonocara ethelwynnae Chitande, 6 x Paralabidochromis sp. "Fire" Uganda, and 10 x Paracyprichromis nigripinnis "Blue Neon" in the mail today! Last week, I went to Living Art and got 12 cherry barbs, 6 drape fin barbs, 7 panda barbs, and 6 huge panda garra. I put all of these in a 100 gallon with the dozen gold barbs from Steve, 8 tiger barbs I had, and the 6 clown barbs from Megan and created a really neat barb tornado. It is probably the most fun to watch out of my 40 aquariums.

I went to living art today because they got a lot in this week. I knew they had gotten some moose face loaches last week but I don’t have a tank available for them at the moment. (I might set one up this weekend though, maybe) I did spy a couple unusual eel loaches though, they were pink in color and similar to Pangio oblonga (The black kuhlii). They are really small so they could just be really young oblonga, I’ve never seen oblonga that small in person but pictures show them darker so I don’t think they are. My initial tentative ID is Pangio filinaris. They came in as mixed kuhliis and there were two other Pangios in the tank that look like Pangio cuneovirgata. Pangio filinaris comes from mainland Malaysia which is close to southern Thailand where cuneovirgata is found.

So after that really long winded explanation I got two new eel loaches that most people wouldn’t even know what they were or care. I’m not sure what they are but am excited to get some little worms with eyes and fins.
