So I have a tank dirted with a lot of snails in it. I ended up ripping a lot of plants out of it last week and it made a mess as the roots were well grown so I ended up just ripping everything out.

How cold and for how long do I need to put this thing outside to freeze the snail and snail eggs? It's going to get down to 14 on wednesday, is that enough?

If it’s malasian live bearing snails there is no safe temperature, they can survive anything. Other snails a good freeze for a few days should work but I would make sure any substrate still in the tank is frozen solid

    Assassins will also survive freezing.
