BTW, MAAH has been given permission to post the presentation in a pdf format. We will do this sometime next week.

According to the "spirit" of the rule, I believe that all crayfish are banded with the exception of WI natives, and specific cases for the rusty, which is an established non-native. I have also been told by DNR that all crayfish are banned with the noted exceptions. There does not appear to be any provision in the rule to grant exceptions to non-viable species like there is for fish, outside of a permit. This is the provision that I believe needs to be changed. We shouldn't ban species that are not viable, IMHO.

To me, this is starting to sound like a "don't ask-don't tell" policy. Thanks to all for your input and guidance.
