I have L140s but haven't gotten a successful spawn yet. Only one batch of eggs kicked by the male most weren't even fertile

I don't have any plecos to try right now. Would like another shot at something sometime. Maybe at cataclysm the will be some groups up for grabs. Last pleco was the l271 those moved on to another. Before that L66 king tiger a few years back. Not counting Bristle nose

Update: I currently have L494, L333, L201, L168, L128, and lower Rio Xingu. Possibly looking to get more.

    What do you have?

I only have one kind of Pleco. Super Red Pleco. 3-Males and 4 Females. Some long fin and some regular fin. In a couple of months I hope they will be big enough to lay eggs.

Available here: L262 :Salt Queen" adult unknown gender
L271: One adult survivor that I got from Randy P two years ago.

BN Plecos: Groups in several tanks including Calicos, Longfins, Browns, Greens, Grays, Albinos and numerous offspring from these mixes. I see an occasional light colored non-albino fish, so there must be some bluI can't yet confirm that any of the Longfin adults are spawning, but am still hoping as there are males on eggs or wigglers in three different caves where I just don't know yet. Many juveniles and some adults available of you are interested.

The Longfin gene is dominant so only one Longfin parent is required to get some Longfin fry. I have one pair, Std. fin male and Longfin female which gets me about 1/2 and 1/2 longfin and standard fin youngsters. It is possible that the longfin gene acts like a Veil gene in Angelfish. Single dose = longfin, double dose = super long fin. I haven't worked with them to try to find out.

I'm looking for a female, calico if possible, any fins. We have an albino Male that could use some action.
